For many years now designers have been exploring different ways in which to create and enjoy outdoor rooms. From pergolas and gazebos to log cabins and summerhouses there’s an option for any location, any taste, and any budget. There are even tree houses with underfloor heating – whatever next?!
With our beautifully varied weather here in the UK it’s no surprise that we’ve ended up migrating towards structures such as summerhouses and orangeries in search of that feeling of being in the garden, without being exposed to the elements.
At the same time we’ve also seen more and more domestic clients exploring commercial grade solutions for the home. Whether it be sound systems that wouldn’t look out of place at Glastonbury Festival, a Bond style retractable roof for the pool, or even entire walls made from glass, designers and architects are starting to blur the lines that once separated commercial and domestic design.

Should you want the space clear of cover then simply close the canopy and the parasol will sit tidily to one side without causing obstruction. Our variable height model, the Piazza, enables the canopy to be set as low as 5ft, creating a far more intimate feel to the space in the evenings.
While our winters may feel long, and it always comes as a shock when the thermometer reads more than 15 degrees, nothing quite beats a good English summer.
